Photo of Bungalow Media identity system and DVD pieces.
Bungalow Media was a creative media company developing thoughtful, parable-based video content designed to feel timeless rather than topical. The visual identity needed to support that intention—grounded, human, and quietly expressive—while remaining flexible enough to extend across print, packaging, and digital platforms.

I began by developing the core identity, drawing inspiration from Craftsman, Bungalow, and Mission design traditions. The goal was to create a look and feel rooted in warmth, structure, and hand-crafted detail—something that felt established and intentional without feeling overly nostalgic or decorative.

From the initial logo and stationery system, the identity expanded into a website, illustrated masthead imagery, and a collection of physical materials designed to support a DVD release of the video series. Each touchpoint was designed to reinforce the same principles: clarity, restraint, and cohesion across mediums.
Client: Bungalow Media
Role: Brand Identity, Illustration, Art Direction, Print & Digital Design
Scope: Logo & Identity, Stationery, Website, Illustration, DVD Packaging, Postcards

While the deliverables ranged from printed materials to digital presentation, the work was guided by a single visual system. Design decisions were made with consistency in mind, allowing the identity to feel cohesive whether experienced on screen or in hand.
This project reinforced the importance of building identity systems that hold together across different formats and uses. By focusing on clarity, consistency, and craft, the work supported storytelling in a way that felt durable, thoughtful, and human—regardless of how or where it was encountered.
